Technical Support Unit (TSU)
Technical Support Units are established by NACO to provide technical assistance to State AIDS Control Societies (SACS). Mandate of TSU is to support SACS to achieve the goals of the National AIDS Control Program (NACP), through mentoring and hand-holding visits, capacity building, data analysis and evidence based strategic planning. TSU coordinates with all the components and divisions of SACS for improved quality of program.
HLFPPT – Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (a not-for-profit health services organization promoted by HLL Lifecare Ltd, a Mini Ratna PSU under the ministry of health and family welfare, GOI) is the management agency for the Technical Support Unit, TANSACS. Technical Support Unit of TANSACS was established in the year of 2007.
